Dady 1: Iquitos - Amazon Lodge
Reception at the airport in the city of Iquitos. Pedestrian City Tour, depending on the flight arrival time. Transfer to our private dock to board our boat. Visit to the houseboats from November to July. Navigation along the Amazon River, where we will observe the majesty of the bridge that crosses the Nanay River, uniting the city with the countryside. Continuing the trip, we will observe its different hamlets located on its shore. Typical drink upon arrival at Amazon Lodge. Allocation of private cabins and tour of the facilities. Typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon walk through primary jungle learning about the flora and fauna of the area. Depending on the weather conditions we will observe the sunset. Night walk observing insects, batrachians, nocturnal tarantulas, among others. Dinner. Amazonian myths.

Day 2: Yaguas - recreational Fishing
In the morning canoe excursion through the Shansho Cocha lagoon observing birds in their habitat, meeting the legendary Shansho – Hoatzin, a bird of varied and attractive colours, herons, jacamares, among others. Breakfast. Visit the Yagua native group, learning about their typical clothing, dialect and way of life. Demonstration with the Blowpipe or Pucuna, a way to hunt birds and small monkeys. Tourist Participation. Return to the Lodge and typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon recreational fishing excursion for piranhas and other species with typical rods. Night canoe excursion listening to the sounds of the humid tropical jungle, with the possibility of observing alligators. Dinner.

Day 3: Visit to the animal rescue centre
Morning walk observing birds in their habitat and sunrise in the jungle. Canoe ride to appreciate victoria regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world. Breakfast. Visit to an animal rescue centre such as anacondas, sloth bears, turtles, monkeys, among others. Typical aphrodisiac drinks with medicinal power. Search for grey and pink dolphins. Return to the Lodge. Lunch. Relax in the hammock house. At 2:00 p.m. return to the city of Iquitos. On the way we will visit the Kukama native group, where we will learn about their customs, dances and the typical jungle drink, “Masato”.
Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the hotel or airport.
