What you can expect

  • Get an introduction to geo-sensory tasting and discover wine in a new way. In the heart of the family vineyard, let your senses guide you to understand the basics of wine tasting and explore all the aromatic richness of the estate's wines.

Welcome and introduction: discovery of the winery, the principles of geo-sensory tasting, and the distinctive features of the family-owned vineyard.

Discovering the terroir: settling in the heart of the vineyards (depending on the weather) to observe the landscape, the soils and the environment that influence the character of the wines.

Introduction to wine tasting: learning the basics of sensory analysis: observing the colour, identifying aromas, and discovering sensations on the palate.

Sensory exploration: tasting of several wines from the estate to compare their aromatic profiles and understand the influence of the terroir and the grape varieties.

Gourmet pairings: Wine tasting paired with Provençal specialities and discussions about food and wine pairings.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with simple guidelines to help you better appreciate and enjoy wine on a daily basis!
