Casco Bay

Stretching along Maine’s southern coast, and dotted with more than 200 islands—many of them uninhabited. Known as the “Calendar Islands,” it offers a mix of rugged coastline, sandy beaches, historic forts, and charming island communities. The bay is a haven for wildlife like seals, ospreys, and bald eagles, and its waters are alive with working lobster boats, ferries, and sailboats, making it both scenic and quintessentially Maine.
