This Baroque jewel, located in the heart of the city, once hosted legendary composers such as Mozart and Strauss. Today, it remains the exclusive venue for this special concert series. The event offers a complete cultural experience, combining world-class music with optional fine dining in a breathtaking, centuries-old setting.

The Concert and Its Programme

The Imperial Gala Concert presents a “best-of” programme of classical music, showcasing timeless masterpieces from the golden age of Viennese music. Each selection is carefully chosen from works by iconic composers closely connected to Palais Auersperg.

The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. A charming, witty, and knowledgeable English-speaking host guides the audience through the evening. In addition to the orchestra, internationally acclaimed sopranos, pianists, and the Vienna Royal Ballet perform, presenting exclusive choreographies set to the music.
