Follow the “Path of the Iron” through the blast furnace from the “Gout” to the “Torpedo Ladle Car”. Be impressed by the sheer confusing multitude of scaffolding, pipes, boilers, stairs and platforms.
    Here the great importance of this industrial monument for the mining industry can be felt first-hand. Today, the new use makes the Meidericher Hütte a symbol of the structural change in the region.

    For almost two hours you will be immersed in the field of smelting and industrial history, blast furnace technology and a busy cultural site.
