What you can expect

    Your 2.5-hour tour begins at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin, where you'll mount gentle, people-friendly horses and set out towards the stunning Oropendola Waterfall, taking in beautiful scenery along the way, rich with flora and fauna unique to the area.

    As you near the waterfall, you'll dismount and continue on foot into the forest — a short, easy walk the horses can't make. There, the mesmerising Oropendola Waterfall awaits, cascading 25 metres (82 feet) into a pool that invites a refreshing dip. Take your time here to explore the peaceful canyon surrounding the falls.

    After exploring with your guide, you'll make your way back to the horses and ride back to Hacienda Guachipelin.
