Arrive at least 30mins before your scheduled ride time and be greeted by your guide or the office associate. After signing a waiver, you'll be walked over to the loading dock which ensures easy mounting and dismounting of your horse. Safety always comes first, so after a riding demo (helmets provided if desired) you'll meet your horse, and then saddle up! You don't need any riding experience and nervous first timers are welcome. On your ride, you'll learn all about the local area including the various flora and fauna, the mountains and the history of the land. The scenery is nothing short of stunning! Ride with real cowboy's through some of the original Texas Long Horns and see our Buffalo along the way. This is a gentle walking tour and perfect for adults and children. When you're back at the ranch, you'll dismount and free to walk around and feed the animals treats. We have goats, chickens, mini ponies, pigs and more. Sit by the fire in the winter or relax for a bit under a shade canopy while you get your land legs back!
