Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride in Banff

There’s nothing quite like gliding over sparkling snow in a horse-drawn sleigh - especially when you’re surrounded by snow covered mountains in the Canadian Rockies. Take in the area's stunning mountain peaks on a charming horse-driven sleigh ride through the snow-covered meadows of Banff.

Start just outside of central Banff at Warner Stables, where your cowboy-guide gets your majestic horses ready for a 40-minute jaunt in the brisk winter air. After taking some time to pet the horses, your friendly driver whisks you away on a 40-minute sleigh ride.

Listen to the sounds and silences of this remote area as your horses' hooves softly crunch the snow and look out for local wildlife, such as elk and deer, moving amongst the trees. Along the way, your guide gives insight into the natural wonders surrounding you, which include breathtaking views of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Norquay.

After your relaxing and delightful ride through this snow-white panorama, warm up by the fire back at the stable.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic each row in the sleigh will be exclusive to a booking. Each row can hold a maximum of 4 guests. Bookings of more than 4 guests will need to be divided into more than one booking. A minimum of two participants are required to make a booking.
