Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride & Berber kebabs

by Sahara Tours International Duration 3h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is £42

Sit back and relax as you ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the illuminated streets of Marrakesh at night. Drive past the famous Mamounia Hotel and watch the snake charmers, dancers, and soothsayers that give the city its enigmatic character before stopping to feast on a delicious Moroccan meal.

Your driver picks you up from your hotel and whisks you off to the famous Djemaa El Fnaa Square. As the sun sets behind the Koutoubia, board a carriage and head into the city for a festive evening of adventure. Watch snake charmers wooing their reptilian friends out of hiding, see dancers jumping and swaying in the starlight, and hear soothsayers chanting their stories. Cruise past floodlit fountains, ancient ramparts, and the Mellah, a vibrant Jewish district in the heart of the city. The best way to witness these colourful magical scenes is from your carriage.

Clip clop to Dar Nejjarine, a traditional house with terrace and view of the Koutoubia, to taste the freshly barbequeued kebabs and Moroccan salads, and a glass or two of Moroccan red wine with sweet Moroccan pastries, whilst being entertained by a live duo and oriental dancer.

Your driver will take you back to the city hotel.

More economical to book in Marrakesh directly. The carriage ride is only for 60 minutes and probably another 60 minutes for the dinner, even though the activity was marketed as 3.5 hours. The remaining time is travel time I guess.

carridge ride ok, horses looked like they could do with some TLC.Everyone was cold where we had the food. There should have been some patio heaters on the terrace.

Confusion carriage driver took us to wrong Riad. However when l complained we were taken to the correct Riad for a meal and picked to be returned to hotel whereas the first time we had to make our own way back.
