Day 0: Overnight Departure from Ho Chi Minh City
Your journey begins in Ho Chi Minh City, where you gather at the departure point and board a comfortable sleeper bus. Settle in for an overnight ride towards Vietnam’s Central Highlands, with scheduled rest stops along the way.
Day 1: Into the Wild – Trekking to the Grassy Hills Camp
Arrive in Đà Lạt early in the morning and continue to Bidoup Núi Bà National Park, one of Vietnam’s most pristine and biodiverse reserves. After breakfast, receive trekking gear, join a safety briefing, and warm up before entering the forest.
Begin your trek through ancient primary rainforest, where moss-covered rocks, towering trees, and flowing streams create a truly untouched landscape. Ascend nearly 400 metres to the Three-Province Junction, a remote mountain crossing where three regions meet, and enjoy lunch surrounded by panoramic views.
Continue hiking through changing terrain—open grasslands, bamboo groves, and pine forests—before reaching a secluded campsite set among rolling grassy hills. Set up camp and hike to a nearby viewpoint to watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the highlands in golden light. As night falls, enjoy a hearty dinner and unwind with an acoustic campfire evening under a sky full of stars. Overnight in tents.
Day 2: Sunrise, Tà Giang Valley & Return Journey
Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the hills, followed by breakfast and coffee by the campfire. Resume trekking through dew-covered grasslands, bamboo forests, and gentle stream paths towards the dramatic Tà Giang stone valley.
Pause for lunch beside the Tà Giang stream, where you can relax, soak your feet in cool mountain water, and take in the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, begin a scenic descent through forest trails and along the stream until reaching the forest edge. Freshen up, enjoy dinner, and board the vehicle for the return trip.
Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing your highland trekking adventure to a memorable close.
