What you can expect

The Cần Gio Mangrove Forest tour offers a captivating journey into one of Vietnam's most unique ecosystems. Located just 40 kilometres southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, Cần Gio is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve renowned for its rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes

Your tour guide will pick you up directly from your hotel and take you on a scenic one-hour drive to Can Gio. Upon arrival, your guide will provide a full overview of the day’s exciting schedule and activities.

Explore three of Can Gio’s must-see highlights: Monkey Island, a trekking adventure, and the Hoa Ca Crocodile Farm. At the crocodile farm, you’ll have the unique chance to try crocodile fishing (optional).

Next, embark on a 25-minute trek to the historic Sac Forest Revolutionary Base, or if you prefer, take a relaxing 10-minute canoe ride to the base (please note, canoe fee is not included).

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, featuring the best of Southern Vietnamese cuisine. Afterwards, visit the bustling Can Gio Seafood Market, where you can discover a wide variety of fresh, local seafood.
