What you can expect

  • Discover Utrecht on a private walking tour. With your own knowledgeable local guide, you explore a city where medieval heritage and vibrant student life come together.

Utrecht is known for its unique canals with wharf cellars at water level and the iconic Dom Tower that dominates the skyline. During this private guided tour, your guide leads you through centuries of history, from Roman origins and medieval power to the lively university city of today. Along the way, you discover hidden courtyards, old churches, and charming alleyways, each with stories that shaped Dutch history.

The private tour of Utrecht takes place entirely on foot in the compact city centre and normally lasts around 1.5 hours. Because this is a private walking tour, the pace and focus are fully flexible and can be adapted to your interests.

This guided walking tour is ideal for travellers who want context, atmosphere, and insight rather than just seeing the highlights.
