Travel by train and ferry to the island and visit the world-famous Itsukushima Shrine, where the iconic red torii gate appears to float on the sea. Stroll along Omotesando Shopping Street and discover local specialities such as oysters and momiji manju as you explore this charming area.

In the afternoon, return to Hiroshima city to experience its powerful history. Visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a symbol of resilience and peace. Continue through the Peace Memorial Park, pausing at monuments dedicated to the victims, and explore the moving exhibits of the Peace Memorial Museum, which provide deep insight into Hiroshima’s past.
