The experience starts at 10:00 in the morning, we'll meet at our farm, where we'll have a brief introduction to our small family business, before we begin our trek. Guests will be accompanied by an environmental guide who will explain the route and provide information about the history, characteristics, and unique features of the area, as well as the various animal and plant species encountered along the way (Season permitting, we will collect edible wild plants for our lunch).
About halfway along the trail, we'll find a spot in the woods, perfect for setup a quick picnic, where we'll enjoy a glass of our farm's wine, accompanied by some cheese and cured meats. After a short break, we'll get on our way back to our farm. A three-course lunch featuring seasonal farm product will be served, including a tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oil.
The planned route is of medium-low difficulty and lasts 2-2.5 hours. The first section is on dirt roads passing through olive groves and vineyards, before moving on to the final section through the woods, still on a well-trodden path. The hike is a sort of loop, starting from our farm and taking a circular route that brings us back to the starting point.
