Overview

The Pelion Peninsula (location for the film 'mama-mia') is the mythical home to the Centaurs and a designated ‘Natura 2000’ area of outstanding natural beauty with clean mountain air, ancient forest, and pristine blue waters. The length of the peninsula is scattered with old stone villages' set in mountain, seaside and woodland hamlets. Before roads, the local villages were connected by a network of paths. Forgotten with the advent of roads, they have been reopened in recent years by local guides & now form the basis of one of the best Hiking regions of Greece.

Our Private Tour makes the most of the variety found in this unspoiled area of Greece and our experienced guide will choose the most suitable local path for your level and preferences, stopping along the way at various villages & beauty spots. Flexible booking options allow you to choose either Half-Day & Full-Day Tours and to include a traditional 3-course lunch. Pickup can also be arranged on request. HALF DAY OPTION typically follow our 'Watermill Trail' visiting three of Pelion's most beautiful stone villages alongside local sights such as an old water mill. FULL DAY OPTION typically follow our Waterfalls Trail. Probably the most beautiful walking route on Pelion, we will pass through virgin beech forests, waterfalls and running streams as well as through some of Pelion's stone villages.
