I'm an environmental hiking guide. I was born and raised in Positano, and I know the Lattari Mountains like the back of my hand. If you're up for it, I'd love to take you to one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, Monte Faito (the mountain overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula).

1) We'll pick you up at a common point between Positano and Sorrento
2) The car ride from Sorrento takes about 55 minutes
3) We'll park the car in Pian del Pero (Monte Faito) at 1158 m above sea level.
4) We'll start our hike towards Casa del Monaco, where we'll smell the scent of centuries-old beech trees and breathe in fresh alpine air.
During the excursion, unparalleled views will open up, and you'll see the entire coast from the Alto degli Dei.
We'll hike a loop and reach one of the highest peaks of the Lattari Mountains, the Croce della Conocchia at 1387 m above sea level. For the more experienced, we could reach the highest peak (Monte Molare at 1444 m above sea level).
The landscape alternates between marine and alpine landscapes, a rarity among the most beautiful jewels in the world for those who love the mountains!
During the excursion, we'll take breaks with tastings of local products and items from my farm that will delight your palate, all while enjoying one of the most beautiful views in the world!
At the end of our excursion, we'll head back to the cars, and if you like, we can stop at one of the restaurants along the road on this spectacular mountain.
