Day 1: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay – Bioluminescent Night Kayak (L, D)
07:00: Pickup from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter (if bus service is booked with us), then depart for Cat Ba Island. We’ll make a few short stops along the way for rest. Upon arrival in Hai Phong City, we’ll take a ferry to Cat Ba Island and continue by road to Ben Beo Pier.
11:15: Arrive at Ben Beo Pier, where your tour guide will provide entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay (included in the tour price).
11:20: Board the boat and begin your cruise through the stunning Lan Ha Bay. As we set sail, you'll be amazed by the spectacular limestone formations rising from the emerald waters. We’ll pass Cai Beo Fishing Village - one of the oldest and most traditional floating villages in northern Vietnam - and continue sailing among thousands of uniquely shaped karst towers
12:00: Enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch onboard, lovingly cooked by our local crew (vegetarian options available). Dine while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay.
14:30: Explore the pristine lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayak. Paddle through the Dark and Bright Caves, natural tunnels, and majestic archways. This area is both stunning and ecologically protected. With luck, you may even spot the rare Cat Ba Langur
15:30: The boat continues southward through the untouched parts of Ha Long Bay.
16:30: Stop at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming and jumping from the boat. This beach is remote, quiet, and less touristy - ideal for discovering temple beaches, hidden lagoons, and scenic rock arches.
17:30: Visit a local floating fish farm to learn how fishermen live and work on the water. Join a hands-on cooking class onboard, where you'll learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. Dinner will be served on the boat.
19:30: As the sun sets, experience the enchantment of bioluminescent plankton. Join our guide for a special kayaking session in areas glowing with natural light. You may also swim under the stars and watch your silhouette sparkle in the dark water.
20:00: Arrive at Viet Hai Village, located around 10 kilometres from Cat Ba Town. Nestled in the heart of the jungle, this charming village is surrounded by lush forest, towering mountains, and serene natural beauty.
Day 2: Discover Viet Hai Village – Monkey Island (B, L)
06:30: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at our restaurant.
07:30: Hop on a bicycle and cycle around Viet Hai Village. Take in the fresh mountain air, scenic views, and even try a fun fish massage in the natural stream.
08:30: Check out of your room. We’ll return to Viet Hai Pier and set sail once more towards Monkey Island.
09:30: Arrive at Monkey Island. Relax and swim on the sandy beach, interact with playful monkeys, or take a short trek up to the island’s viewpoint for a panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay.
10:30: Lunch is served onboard as we cruise back towards the harbour.
11:30: Arrive at Cai Beo Harbour. Board the bus for your return to Hanoi.
