What you can expect

This tour offers a unique perspective by blending Hue’s French colonial heritage with powerful stories from the Vietnam War, all told through the lens of local experience. Instead of focusing only on famous landmarks, it takes you to meaningful sites such as colonial-era buildings, the Quốc Học stele, and hidden wartime bunkers, where history feels more personal and real. By connecting past events with everyday life in Hue today, and guided by local storytelling, the tour provides a deeper, more human understanding of the city beyond what you’ll find in guidebooks.

The Nunciature Palace no longer exists today, it was completely ruined in 1945.
