At the indicated time pick up at the different points of the Costa del Sol to leave for the town of Ardales. On arrival free time of about an hour to discover this village of Roman origin where the interpretation centre of Prehistory is located and be able to have a typical breakfast of the area if you wish.
At 11:30, the local guide will take us to begin the walking tour of the Caminito del Rey, built in 1921 to commemorate the visit of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. From there we can see the impressive natural enclave that lies between the Sierra de Almarchón and the Gorge of the Gaitanes, crossed by the Guadalhorce River.
The route is approximately 7 kilometres, 3 of which are walking across a suspension bridge more than 100 metres high and built between the walls of the gorge.
