What you can expect

I will tell you the storey of Francis I and his ambitious plan to build a castle that would become the “Jewel of the French Renaissance.”

Please note: This tour is interactive, and you'll need to participate by answering my questions or even by pretending to be French courtiers on the famous double helix staircase.

I will meet you in front of the castle entrance for a 1.5-hour guided tour, which will end on the terraces of Chambord Castle.

A few tips for your visit: Dress warmly as there are drafts, and be prepared to climb steps as there is no lift.
