Our excursion invites you to discover the great green heart of Gran Canaria, an island called “a miniature continent”, because of the huge contrasts of its different habitats and landscapes. The northern middle-land area never stop to amaze you, green meadows, farming areas, forests, natural parks, mountains, impressive viewpoints, and hidden careful villages
This is our guided proposal that includes various stops and visits
- Visit to Telde.Second most populous city on the island, modern but at the same time with an interesting past, ancient aboriginal capital, we will learn about the history of its Church and as well about its past and present.
- Visit to Arucas and Firgas: Discover the charming old town of Arucas and its magnificent modernist Church of San Juan Bautista built with volcanic black stone. After we will visit Firgas, known as “the Atlantic balcony” for its fantastic panoramic views, or also called “the water village”, with an exceptional waterfall fountain in the middle of the old town
Arriving at the mountain area, we make a pause at a restaurant in the Valleseco surroundings for lunch (optional, not included in the price). We will continue through protected natural areas and mountains with stops at:
- Mirador de la Cruz de Tejedawith beautiful views of Roque Nublo and El Teide
- San B*artolomé,*with fantastic views of the Santa Lucia Valley and the Caldera de Tirajana
And to end with an impressive panoramic route through the Fataga Valley canyon. Discover Gran Canaria, a true miniature continent.
