Overview

This tour will take you through stunning landscape of Valencian interior. Sot de Chera is a pretty village, and the corners of its streets decorated with flowers. On top of that, there is a river flowing through the village and it is possible to take a dip in a designated swimming area.
As for the 4x4 tour - the views along the are simply spectacular! Once we get to the top you will be able to see the Buseo reservoir and all of its surroundings. A dip in a cool mountain stream waters will make for a great ending of the tour!

We will spend about 1 hour and 20 minutes driving to Sot de Chera from Valencia.
Sot de Chera

Once in Sot de Chera, we will have coffee in a local bar and take a leisurely walk through its pretty streets. The house in this village are decorated with flowers, which makes every corner picturesque. We will also get to see very curios rock formations, since the village is in the middle of geological park.
Grunidor

Sot de Chera offers a great public swimming spot. The river Sot, which flows through the village has a pretty shallow spot, suitable to take a dip for every person. There is easy access to get in and out the water and a space to sunbathe.
Mirador del Morroncillo

After the first swimming spot we will go ahead with the 4x4 part of the tour and drive up to the lookout point Mirador de Morroncillo. Stunning views open up from here. You will see Sot de Chera all the way down in the valley. We will also visit another lookout point right next to it which will give us great views of the reservoir from above.
Embalse de Buseo

The Buseo reservoir is a beautiful site reminiscent of Swiss landscapes, and which was formed when a 40-meter-high dam was erected in the Reatillo riverbed, at the entrance to the narrow Tormagal gorge. The dam, built using ashlar masonry between 1903 and 1915, and can store an amount of water that allowed the entire Valencian garden to be watered at least two times a year. It is the oldest reservoir in the Turia basin and from its commissioning it was the largest in the Valencian Community.
