During this stop, we will enjoy a light breakfast box lunch in nature, followed by a guided meditation session and a moment of group reflection designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and fully immerse in the surroundings. Explore the historic centre of Cocula, known as the cradle of mariachi. Walk through its traditional plaza, visit the iconic church, and experience the authentic rhythm of a Mexican Pueblo Mágico. During this 60-minute guided visit, you will also stop at the local mariachi school, where new generations preserve and continue this musical tradition. In addition, you will explore historic tunnels that, according to local history, were used during the Cristero War, offering a glimpse into a significant chapter of Mexico’s past. Your guide will share stories about the origins of mariachi, regional traditions, and the cultural heritage that makes Cocula a symbol of Jalisco’s identity.

Visit the Museo del Mariachi in Cocula, the birthplace of this iconic musical tradition. Mariachi was recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and this museum preserves the history, instruments, and stories behind its evolution.
