Introductory session:
A half-day introduction to the wonderful world of freediving. This is a discovery session, suitable for beginners, designed to introduce you to freediving along a cable in a safe and fun way, and to freely explore the underwater world. After a two-hour theory session covering all the fundamentals of breathing, safety, and techniques, you will be guided by your instructor during a two-hour session at sea, starting from a boat. This outing in a natural environment will allow you to reach depths of up to 6 metres.
Our outings end with a debriefing over a cup of tea with honey from grandma's house and Breton cookies.
The SDConservation Apnée freediving school is involved in several environmental projects. A reading of the eco-responsible diver's charter will be offered to the group at the beginning of the outing. This time will be dedicated to a discussion on the importance of preserving our coastal areas. We will talk about SDConservation Apnée's actions, participatory science projects, and the school's initiatives in collaboration with local stakeholders.
This is not a complete course for beginners, but rather an introduction that will give you a voucher idea of what freediving is all about and is suitable for those who have limited time.
