Stopover tips:
If your stopover spans from early morning to late evening, it’s possible to visit both the Great Wall and the city in a single day.

If your stopover tour of the Forbidden City falls on a Monday (when it is closed, except during national holidays), consider visiting Jingshan Park as excellent alternatives.
