Enjoy an exciting scuba diving adventure at the magical Cook Island Marine Reserve, the perfect experience for guests without a diving licence who want to explore the underwater world.
Depart from Gold Coast Dive Centre, Miami QLD, and after a short drive to the Tweed Heads jetty, board the boat bound for Cook Island (Jungarra Ngarrian) — also known as Turtle Island.
Your qualified instructor will introduce you to the equipment, essential skills and safety procedures. Enter the water together and practise basic scuba skills before continuing with your guided introductory dive to a maximum depth of 5 metres.
Instruction is highly personalised, typically one participant per instructor and never more than two participants per instructor.
Dive into crystal-clear waters teeming with green, hawksbill, and loggerhead turtles, colourful fish, corals, rays, and even leopard sharks in summer.
