What you can expect
Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush as you go abseiling on an ancient volcanic plug in Glass House Mountains National Park. Abseil from the top of Mount Ngungun and take in the scenic landscape, from rolling farmland to towering mountain ranges, as you hang suspended above the beautiful country.
Meet your guide at Mount Ngungun, which rises to a height of 830 feet (253 m) with a flat-topped summit, where you can prepare for your adventure. Get familiar with your equipment, go over some techniques with your skilled guides, and then learn to master both the available abseiling routes: the smaller 65-foot (20-metre) cliff face and a 164-foot (40-metre) abseil.
Unlike some extreme activities where you only get one turn, abseiling lets you take the challenge as many times as you like within the allotted time. Learn to scale the mountainside like an old hand, and get a unique perspective of the beautiful country.
