What you can expect

  • Step beyond the typical tourist path and visit our family workshop, just 12 minutes from Ancient Galle City, surrounded by peaceful rice fields and village greenery. Meet our government-recognized 4th-generation master craftsman and his daughter to discover traditional Sri Lankan jewelry-making through a truly hands-on experience.

    Create Something of Your Own

With your own personal workstation, choose or sketch a design that reflects your style. Depending on your idea, you can create a silver ring, pendant, bracelet, earrings, or another unique piece.
This is more than a demonstration. You won’t simply watch someone else work—you’ll take part in the process, make creative decisions, and learn by doing under the guidance of an experienced master craftsman.

    Experience Traditional Silversmithing

Working with genuine 925 sterling silver and traditional artisan tools, discover the craft step by step. Learn how to shape, hammer, saw, solder, file, smooth, and polish your piece while your master craftsman guides you through the more technical stages.

Meet the Artisan Family Behind the Craft

This is our own family workshop, not a broker-operated tourist experience. You’ll meet the artisans directly, learn in our personal studio, and experience the craft as it has been practised through generations.

    Enjoy Sri Lankan Family Hospitality

Take a break from creating and enjoy a freshly prepared traditional Sri Lankan meal with our family. Taste local food, share stories, and experience genuine Southern Sri Lankan hospitality in a peaceful countryside setting overlooking green rice fields.

At the end of your experience, you’ll leave with more than a piece of silver. You’ll take home something you created with your own hands—and a lasting memory of meeting a real Sri Lankan artisan family and discovering a traditional craft that is slowly disappearing.
