Hikers can enter the forest early in the morning-probably in a small group-this is the best time to feel the forest with eyes, ears and the whole body. Along the trails, squirrels, civets and monkeys can be seen. A patient hiker might even catch a glimpse of monitors, geckos, porcupines and various types of snakes along the trails.
8.00am: Pick up guests from accommodation and transfer to the National Park centre.
8.45am: From the headquarters, begin your trek through primary forest and limestone mountain landscapes.
10:00am – 10:30am: Take a short break at Frog Pond — a limestone wetland located 80 metres above sea level.
Continue walking along the main trail towards the next stop, Viet Hai Commune, a traditional settlement located deep within the Park.
12.30-1.00pm: Enjoy lunch.
After lunch, relax and take in the peaceful surroundings, experience the simple lifestyle of the local residents, or try a natural spa treatment with hundreds of Doctor Fish.
2.00pm: Cycle or take an optional electric minibus to the village dock.
2.30pm: Board a boat to Lan Ha Bay. From the sundeck, admire the spectacular scenery formed by hundreds of limestone islands and islets of various shapes and sizes.
3:00pm: Enjoy kayaking to explore the rock formations up close, or simply relax on a beach with stunning views. Swim in the crystal-clear water of Lan Ha Bay to refresh yourself after the long trek.
4:30pm: Cruise back towards Beo Port, passing through Cai Beo Fishing Village. Learn about the traditional floating life that has existed here for centuries in the Gulf of Tonkin.
5:00pm: Transfer by bus back to the town centre. Tour ends.
