Next, ride a cable car up to the ancient Gwongeumseong Fortress on the steep Dol Mountain and take in scenic rock formations along the way. Afterward, visit the Sinheungsa Temple, which boasts the 48-foot (14.6 m), 108-tonne (97 mT) Great Unification Buddha statue.

Then take a stroll on Naksan Beach, located just 2 miles (4 km) away and view the dense pine trees that line the sandy shores.
