We continue our boat ride to the south of Ugljan Island. Along the coast we will stop in two little and cosy bays for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing with nothing but a clear sea and nature.

One of the beaches we visit is called Prtljug, and it is a part of the village called Lukoran. Lukoran is a beautiful quiet place with small fishing stone houses. Prtljug Bay is located in Lukoran, and it is distinguished by its crystal clear sea, peace and quiet. This is the right place to enjoy the unspoiled nature. There, you will have a chance to swim in a clear blue sea, see a part of an untouched nature and enjoy some time away from crowded beaches. Its narrow streets are lined with stone houses and small gardens, while the village square is dominated by a beautiful 16th-century church. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and visitors will find that they are more than happy to share their knowledge of the island and its history. One of the main draws of Prtljug is its beautiful beaches. The village is surrounded by clear, turquoise waters, and there are several secluded coves and bays that are perfect for swimming and sunbathing.

After lunch we will head to our next stop – a little village on the Ugljan island called Muline. We will stop at a port and you will have some free time to explore the village and visit the replica of an ancient oil mill. It is the most important archaeological site on the island of Ugljan from the 1st century with the remains of a large ancient oil mill where the famous Liburnian oil was produced. This oil mill was one of the strongest in the Mediterranean, and next to its remains today there is a replica in life size. Considering that the oldest olive tree in Croatia, found on island Pag, is 1600 years old, it is possible that the olives from that tree were made into an olive oil using this Oil Mill on Ugljan.
