What you can expect

  • Start the day at Monte Brasil, enjoying a panoramic view of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. We'll continue along the coast to the Serretinha observation deck, where you can see the Ilhéus das Cabras (Goat Islets), passing through the parishes of Ribeirinha and Feteira.
    After passing through the village of Porto Judeu, continue to Salga Bay, a historical sight in the history of Portugal.
    Head a little further inland and enjoy the tranquility of the village of São Sebastião, where you'll find one of the oldest churches in the Azores.
    Continue to Serra do Cume and prepare to be amazed by the view of the “Patchwork Quilt” in the largest caldera in the Azores.
    After a lunch break* in the town of Praia da Vitória, continue your adventure with a climb up Serra do Facho, where the view over the town is breathtaking.
    Seasonal note: Due to conservation works at Algar do Carvão between 31 October 2026 and 31 March 2027.
    Before ending the day at the Natural Pools in the parish of Biscoitos, surrounded by the distinctive lava rock formations, from which its famous vineyards also spring.
