There is a reason beginners learn to windsurf in Costa Calma: a wide sandy bay, steady side shore wind and shallow, warm water that forgives every wobble. Your session starts on the sand with a short simulator lesson, so you understand how the sail catches the wind before you ever get wet. Then you walk a few steps into the bay with your instructor and put it into practice, balancing on the board, pulling up the sail, catching the wind and making your first turns. We teach in small groups of up to 6 per instructor, so you are never left watching from the beach.
