From the spectacular dunes of Corralejo to dramatic mountains, ancient volcanoes and hidden valleys, every part of this adventure reveals a different side of the island.
Mountains, volcanoes & spectacular landscapes
Travel through the breathtaking Betancuria Natural Park, winding through spectacular mountain roads and hairpin bends as we make our way towards the south.
Along the way, your expert guide, Pedro, will share fascinating stories about Fuerteventura’s history, culture, traditions and landscapes. Keep your eyes open, too — you may spot eagles, falcons, vultures and other local wildlife soaring above the mountains.
☠️ Discover the village of Ajuy
We’ll continue to the authentic fishing village of Ajuy, where you can experience one of the most unique corners of the island.
Enjoy a delicious local lunch before exploring the famous black-sand beach and dramatic limestone cliffs. We’ll also discover the mysterious caves that have been shaped by the ocean over millions of years and are closely connected to the island’s fascinating pirate legends.
Sicasumbre — a landscape from another planet
Our journey then continues through the mountains to the spectacular Sicasumbre viewpoint.
Surrounded by volcanic landscapes, this incredible viewpoint offers panoramic views that stretch across the island. It’s a perfect place to breathe in the scenery and capture some unforgettable photographs.
A walk in La Pared
And we’re not finished yet!
We’ll head further south to La Pared, within the spectacular Jandía Natural Park, for a beautiful walk through Fuerteventura’s wild and untouched landscape.
From here, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views over both the southern and western coastlines — a truly special experience and one of the highlights of the day.
Back towards Caleta & Corralejo
As the day comes to an end, we’ll follow the eastern side of the island, passing volcanic landscapes, traditional villages and vast open plains before returning to the spectacular dunes of Corralejo.
Throughout the journey, there will be plenty of opportunities to stop, take photographs, enjoy the scenery and simply appreciate the incredible diversity of Fuerteventura.
