What you can expect

  • All aboard for this popular tour to Victoria Island and Butchart Gardens, a lushly landscaped floral arboretum. Your all-day excursion departs from Vancouver before boarding a ferry to get to the island, where the gardens and British Columbia’s historic capital city of Victoria are yours to explore.

Board a comfortable tour coach in Vancouver before cruising to Vancouver Island via a 95-minute ferry ride via BC Ferries. Once docked at Swartz Bay, your tour continues to Butchart Gardens, where you can stroll around and take in 55 acres (22.3 ha) of magnificent foliage in 2 hours.

Then it's on to Victoria, British Columbia's capital. Your guide shares local history as bus drives through the residential areas of Oak Bay and Uplands, the University of Victoria, Beacon Hill Park, and Mile Zero before parking city centre. The rest of the time is yours to snap some photos as you explore the Inner Harbour, the Empress Hotel, the Royal BC Museum, and the British Columbia Legislature Building.
