Your journey begins with a private transfer service. Climb by car through the lava landscapes of Mount Etna to Rifugio Sapienza (about 2,000 m). A visit to the Silvestri Craters and a lava flow cave is planned, with time available to admire the view. Short optional walks are possible.

Mount Etna

At Rifugio Sapienza there is a break with tasting of typical local chocolate. The refuge, located at about 2,000 metres above sea level, is one of the main access points to the summit area of Etna. During the stop you will be able to walk on the volcanic soil, touch the lava rocks and enjoy wide panoramic views, which allow you to appreciate the unique landscape and the extension of the surrounding territory.

Stop at a historic winery of Etna, one of the reference realities in the production of DOC wines of the territory. There will be an explanation of the vineyards, the characteristics of the volcanic soil on which the vines grow and the peculiarities that influence production.
