This tour is SUITABLE for family traveller, easy trek to see huge waterfall and the volcano.
START & FINISH TIME:
2d1n Tumpak Sewu Bromo start at 6 AM in Surabaya/8 AM in Malang. Return to Surabaya next day at 1 PM.
FACILITIES:
Vehicle is using Indonesian MPV.
Accommodation is provided in Cemoro Lawang Village, most of available bed is double/queen size bed, twin bed option is limited.
DESTINATION:
Tumpak sewu is a huge semicircular curtain-form waterfall.
Bromo Volcano located in National Park stretched about 500 km2 comprising sea sand caldera, high peak hills, views of some inactive mountains. There are 2 volcanoes on the area (Bromo and Semeru), but the Semeru only can view in far behind. The most visited area for watching spectacular sunrise view among the mountain range.
ITINERARY DAY 1:
6 AM Pick up time in Surabaya
8 AM Pick up time in Malang
11 AM in Tumpak, meet & greet guide, safety briefing before trek from top to bottom of waterfall. 3hours activities:

• Trekking from start point to the panorama view point, it is where you can enjoy the scenery from the top, overlooking the huge curtain form waterfall. 5 minutes, flat trek.
• Trekking from panorama view point to the bottom of waterfall, it’s steep, and slippery, walk down the cliff takes about 30minutes trekking (you will passing a river, can’t avoid to get wet, please prepare for it). This waterfall called Tumpak Sewu, it’s a Javanese phrase, which means Thousands Waterfall.
• Trekking from main waterfall to other waterfall located next to each other, this other waterfall is different forming with the previous one, called Goa Tetes, a Bahasa Indonesia words: Goa means Cave; Tetes means water drops. So the waterfall name itself already give an exact description to the site.
  2 PM short rest and change clothes
  3 PM leave Tumpak for guesthouse in Bromo.
  4-5 PM Optional stop for lunch at local restaurant (client’s personal expenses)
  7-8 PM estimate arrive in Guesthouse
  Optional evening out for dinner at local restaurant (client’s personal expenses).
  ITINERARY DAY 2
  2 am start with jeep for Bromo
  4 am sunrise point
  5 am sunrise witnessing
  6 am back to jeep, go to crater, 1stop in Widodaren for photo
  7:30 am hike up to crater edge
  9 am back to jeep, leave Bromo, back to village breakfast
  11 am car, proceed back to Surabaya.
  1 pm estimated arrival in Surabaya.
