Start your 8-hour excursion with a visit to the village of Eguisheim, known worldwide for its fountain and dovecote, which inspired Disney authors during the filming of the film Beauty and the Beast.

Then head to Colmar, capital of Alsace wines. Discover the “Little Venice” district, a real postcard setting, with its colourful half-timbered houses and geraniums on balconies, as well as the rest of the old town, which is almost entirely pedestrianised.

Take advantage of this stopover to have lunch in one of the countless winstubs that dot the city centre.

Finally, visit Riquewihr and discover the fortified village as it was in the Middle Ages, with its ramparts, its famous Dolder, and the entirely preserved Old Town.
