Trade the city for turquoise water, white-sand beaches and a night on Yani Island. This San Blas overnight tour combines a private room, island meals and a boat excursion to Isla Misdup and the Natural Pool, giving you two days to enjoy the islands.
DAY 1: ARRIVE ON YANI ISLAND
Meet us at the designated San Blas port, or add return transport from Panama City when booking. With the transport add-on, travel by shared 4x4 through the mountains of Guna Yala before continuing to the coast.
At the port, board a shared boat for an approximately 30-minute ride to Isla Yansailadup, also known as Yani Island, in the Lemon Cays.
Settle into your private room and enjoy the island at your own pace. Swim in clear water, relax beneath the palms or find a quiet spot overlooking the sea. SUP boards are available to rent for an additional charge.
Enjoy lunch and dinner on the island, with time between meals to unwind and explore. Vegetarian and non-seafood meals can be requested.
Your accommodation is simple and rustic, with shared bathrooms. This stay suits travellers who value a beautiful island setting and a slower pace.
DAY 2: ISLA MISDUP & THE NATURAL POOL
Start your morning with breakfast and another swim or a walk along the beach. Check out of your room by 8:00 AM, then enjoy your remaining time on Yani Island before lunch.
After lunch, join the included shared boat excursion to Isla Misdup, where white sand and shallow turquoise water invite you to relax and explore. Continue to the Natural Pool, a shallow offshore sandbank where you can stand in the sea and enjoy the surrounding views.
Shared masks and snorkels are provided during the boat excursion. The route and timing may change with weather and sea conditions.
Return to the mainland port in the afternoon. If you selected the return Panama City transport add-on, your driver will meet you for the journey back, with arrival at your lodging around 7:00 PM.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Island services are basic and managed by the local Guna community. Bathrooms are shared, electricity is available overnight and phone charging is available in the main house. Bring cash for drinks, rentals and the separate Guna Yala entrance fee.
Panama City road transport is included only when you purchase the transport add-on.
