Overview

Our to the wine-growing centre of the province, touring the Quebrada de las Conchas. Wind erosion has formed a succession of natural whims such as the Devil's Throat, The Amphitheatre, The Fraile, The Obelisk, The Castles. Cafayate, a town of single-story houses between colonial and baroque from the late 19th century.
Heading to Cachi, we will visit the Quebrada de Escoipe and the imposing Cuesta del Obispo. After visiting La Piedra del Molino, you will be passing through Los Cardones National Park. The small and magical town of Cachi is characterised by its colonial-style facades, with mansions located on the edge of narrow, cobblestone streets.
On the excursion to Humahuaca we will visit towns such as Purmamarca, famous for the Hill of 7 Colours, Maimará with its Painter's Palettes, Tilcara stands out for its Pucará (high mountain fortress). The tour also visits Uquia and the ceramic factory and then the city of Humahuaca, whose town is the largest in the Quebrada.

The erosion in the region has formed a succession of natural wonders such as The Devil's Throat, a deep and closed canyon. The Anfitheatre (with perfect natural acoustics). The Toad, The Friar, The Obelisk, The Castles. Little by little, the aridity of the landscape is replaced by large areas of vineyards to reach one of the most outstanding regions within the Calchaquíes Valleys: Cafayate, a town of one-story houses between colonial and baroque from the late 19th century. Quebrada de las Conchas: More than 10 stops in multicoloured formations caused by wind and water erosion such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheatre, La Yesera, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, etc.

Its cobbled streets with its adobe and cobblestone houses allow you to witness a place left in time, which maintains its primordial essence. In these 2 free hours, you can tour these 10 blocks by 10 blocks that the town offers and try its gastronomic variety native to the region. Then we meet again with the guide to begin the return to Salta.
