Escape into nature and explore the breathtaking landscapes of La Malinche National Park without the intense challenge of reaching the summit. This tour is designed for hikers who want to enjoy fresh mountain air, scenic trails, and panoramic views at a comfortable pace.

Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Puebla, followed by a scenic drive to La Malinche National Park, located at 3,500 metres (11,482 feet) above sea level. As we ascend, enjoy the transition from valley landscapes to dense pine and oak forests, with spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes. Upon arrival, your expert bilingual guide will provide trekking poles and a short briefing before the hike begins. Unlike summit hikes, this route focuses on a moderate and scenic trail, allowing you to fully experience the tranquility and beauty of the mountain.

The hike starts in a lush forest, where towering trees, crisp mountain air, and the sounds of birds create a peaceful environment. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the local flora, fauna, and the mountain’s geological history. As you gain elevation, the trail opens up to stunning meadows with sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and distant volcanoes, including Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. This is the perfect place to rest, take in the scenery, and capture incredible photos. Your guide will ensure a comfortable pace, making this hike accessible for those who want to experience high-altitude trekking without the extreme effort of a summit climb.

At a designated scenic point, you’ll have time to sit, relax, and enjoy a light snack or hydration while breathing in the fresh mountain air. Feel the peace and energy of La Malinche, far from the noise of the city. After enjoying the views, we’ll begin a gentle descent through the forest, offering a different perspective of the landscapes. The return trek is easier, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of the park before reaching the base.

Once the hike is complete, we’ll board the vehicle and head back to Puebla, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation, bringing home unforgettable memories of this nature-filled adventure. This tour is perfect for those who love outdoor experiences, fresh air, and scenic trails, without the challenge of a full summit hike. Whether you’re a beginner hiker or simply looking for a relaxing nature walk, La Malinche offers the perfect blend of adventure and serenity.
