What you can expect

Your journey begins at Pokhara Old Airport, where you’ll board a high-performance helicopter (typically an Airbus H125/B3 series) designed for high-altitude mountain flying. As you take off, the landscape transforms instantly—gliding over the emerald hills of the Annapurna Conservation Area before rising to face the towering snow walls of the Himalayas.

The flight path takes you through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world's deepest canyon. To your left rises Dhaulagiri; to your right, the Annapurna range. You will land at the helipad near Ranipauwa, just a short walk (or optional horse ride) from the temple.

You will have approximately 80 to 90 minutes of ground time (strictly regulated due to high-altitude winds) to perform Puja, run through the famous 108 water spouts, or simply stand in awe of the Thorong La Pass views. After your spiritual immersion, the return flight offers a second chance to capture photos of the mesmerising landscapes before touching down back in Pokhara.
