☀ Saturday, May 30th, join us for a unique getaway to admire the magnificent cliffs of ETRETAT in Normandy with a group of friendly solo-travelers, 20-39+ year old, French and internationals!
On our way to Etretat, we will have a photostop in the Venice of Normandy : Pont Audemer, a lovely small town of canals and narrow streets, where we will have our lunch/picnic break ( don’t forget to bring your picnic and snacks )
PONT-AUDEMER
Built in the Risle valley, between two arms of the Risle river, Pont-Audemer is nicknamed today the “Little Norman Venice”. As if out of time, Pont Audemer has retained this very particular charm, a mixture of streams, bourgeois residences, half-timbered houses and Norman buildings, which invite to stroll through its medieval streets and alleys.
During our stroll, we will pass by old tannery drying rooms, sumptuous private mansions, corbels of half-timbered houses from the 15th and 16th centuries, its passages and dead ends and the reflection of the facades and the light in the water flowing peacefully in the canals, spanned by small stone bridges.
After our photostop, time to head to the coast to explore and admire the magnificent village, beach and cliffs of Etretat
