Day 1
Enjoy the convenience of being picked up from your accommodation in Nairobi at 7 am. Drive south across the Athi Plain, home to the Maasai, and continue to Amboseli National Park. Arrive mid-day, freshen up and enjoy a short rest before your safari. Afterwards, explore the park and spot herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests. Travel through the park in a customised van which allows for easy game viewing. Discover giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope in their natural habitat. All the while Mt. Kilimanjaro provides a dramatic backdrop. Overnight AA Lodge / Amboseli Wildebeest Camp or similar.

Day 2
Wake up early in the morning to see Mount Kilimanjaro, and take an early morning game drive. Marvel at Mount Kilimanjaro as it's illuminated by the early morning light, revealing dark hues of purple, and turning its snow an ethereal pink. Enjoy an iconic African sight: herds of African elephants crossing the Amboseli plains with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Animals are most active in the morning, so you'll be able to see the wildlife hunt and play in the early morning light. After the game drive, head back to camp for breakfast and then return to Nairobi.
