Blagaj is located at the source of the Buna river, near Mostar. It represents a valuable sacral-residential building of Islamic architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with very pronounced features that arose from the influence of the Baroque on Ottoman architecture. The Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments, at its session held from December 6 to 11, 2003 in Sarajevo, made a decision to declare Tekija in Blagaj a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Kravica waterfall is a favourite Herzegovinian picnic spot and summer swimming spot. 3 kilometres downstream from the village of Hrašljani, between the villages of Studenaca and Zvirić, the Trebižat river falls from a height of 28 metres, creating a beautiful natural amphitheatre 120 metres wide. This natural show has been attracting many nature lovers for years, and in the summer months it offers rest and entertainment for all lovers of swimming and activities on the river.
