Embark on a memorable full-day tour from Marseille to the picturesque Luberon Valley, an enchanting region known for its charming and unique hilltop villages.
Join your local Provence expert guide as he leads you through the region’s finest markets. Wander among colourful stalls and discover iconic local products. No trip to Provence is complete without experiencing its vibrant markets !
Your tour begins in Marseille, where you meet your friendly local guide. Set off in our comfortable minibus and enjoy a scenic drive through the Provençal countryside.
Your first stop is in one of the most famous villages of the Luberon: Gordes. Take your time exploring this stunning village built entirely from dry stone and admire its breathtaking views over the Luberon massif. (Gordes’ market takes place on Tuesdays. On other days, a photo stop will be included.)
From mid-June to mid-July, the tour includes a picturesque stop at Sénanque Abbey, perfectly framed by lavender fields in full bloom.
You will then continue to Roussillon, known for its striking ochre cliffs and colourful houses. (Roussillon’s market is on Thursdays.)
Next, immerse yourself in Provençal life in Lourmarin, one of the loveliest market towns in the Luberon, famous for its Renaissance château. (Lourmarin’s market is on Fridays.)
On Saturdays only, the tour includes a visit to Apt, renowned for its traditional market and its delicious candied fruits.
On Sundays, you will discover Ansouis, a charming village full of authenticity and quintessential Provençal character. (No stop in Ansouis on Saturdays.)
The final stop of your excursion is the village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.
From April 1st, 2026, the stop in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse will be replaced by a visit to the village of Ansouis.
After a full day of discovery, it will be time to leave the Luberon and return to Marseille.
There will be free time for lunch (not included) during the day.
Please note : the order of the visits will vary depending on market days.
From November to March 2025, the tour runs from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, and the programme may vary according to winter conditions.
From April to October 2026, the tour runs from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
NB : On certain days, a quick drive through Aix en Provence to pick up and drop off passengers may be included.
