Day 1 : Marrakech - Atlas Mountain - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades or Tinghir

Your 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to sahara desert Merzouga dunes begins early in the morning with a pickup from your Marrakech hotel or the nearest meeting point. Drive east past quaint villages to reach the High Atlas Mountains.

As you drive through the mountains, occasionally stop for scenic photos, stretch your legs, and have a quick cup of coffee. After driving through the famous Tizi Ntichka pass, stop at the Berber fortified village, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.

See the filming locations of the Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Kingdom of Heaven as you spend about 1 hours exploring this famous UNESCO sight with a local guide (guide fees not included).

Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing to Dades or Tinghir, driving past Ouarzazate, Klaa Mgouna, and Dades. Reach your hotel late in the afternoon.
The first overnight stay will be in Dades Valley or Tinghir, depending on hotel availability and daily logistics. Both locations provide comfortable accommodation for a restful night.

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Sahara Desert – Merzouga Dunes

After breakfast, depart towards the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Journey through a series of traditional Berber villages, passing through Tinghir. Along the way, stop to explore the impressive Todra Gorges and take a walk through the canyon to admire its towering cliffs and breathtaking scenery.

Visit the Todra Valley with a local guide and enjoy a walk through the canyon (optional, extra €2 per person).

Visit a traditional local cooperative to learn about regional crafts and products, then continue your journey across the desert landscapes towards Merzouga.

Upon arrival, relax before preparing for your desert adventure. Pack a small overnight bag and begin your camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Reach your traditional Berber desert camp in time to walk up the dunes and enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and traditional drum music around the campfire. Spend the night in comfortable Berber nomad tents beneath a sky full of stars in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Kalaat M’Gouna – Marrakesh

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the desert camp, enjoy a camel ride back to the village of Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting to begin the return journey to Marrakesh.

Travel through the scenic landscapes of the Rose Valley and stop in Kalaat M’Gouna for lunch and a relaxing break. Continue the drive via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains .

Drop-off at your accommodation in Marrakesh or at the nearest accessible meeting point, such as Jemaa el-Fna Square.
