Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech! Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first glimpse of the Red City, famous for its bustling medina, colourful souks, and lively atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge
After breakfast, depart Marrakech and drive to Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to Mount Toubkal. Meet your local mountain guide and mule team before beginning your trek through the Atlas Mountains. Hike via the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch and continue to Toubkal Refuge (3,207m).
Day 3: Summit Mount Toubkal (4,167m) – Return to Imlil – Marrakech
Start before sunrise for the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains and Sahara horizon. Descend to the refuge for lunch before continuing to Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech.
Day 4: Marrakech Guided City Tour
Discover Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, and the vibrant souks. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore at your own pace.
Day 5: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Travel to Casablanca to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, where you’ll visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.
Day 6: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Depart for Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities. Explore Bab Mansour Gate and the historic medina. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before arriving in Fes.
Day 7: Full-Day Guided Tour of Fes
Explore the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace, the famous tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University, traditional artisan quarters, and the UNESCO-listed medina.
Day 8: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga Sahara Desert
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Visit the cedar forests near Azrou and continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and witness a magical Sahara sunset.
Day 9: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart for the spectacular Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls. Continue through the beautiful Dades Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
Day 10: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Travel through the Valley of Roses to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.
