TRIP TO HUARAZ
❖ In the evening, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and take you to the bus terminal, where you will board a comfortable tour bus bound for the city of Huaraz. This journey will be on a first-class bus equipped with semi-reclining seats to ensure your comfort.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HUARAZ – ROCOTUYOQ LAGOON – FROZEN LAGOON
❖ We will arrive in Huaraz (elevation 3,052 m / 9,983 ft) at approximately 6:00 a.m. Our team will be waiting to take you to your hotel, where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. At 8:30 a.m., we will depart from Huaraz, heading north to the town of Marcará, where we will turn east to enter the territory of the Vicos community and then enter Huascarán National Park.
❖ We will discover the enchanting Paqcharuri, with its crystal-clear waterfalls, and the cave paintings of Llamaruri. Next, we will ascend to Rocotuyoc Lagoon, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Next, we will hike to the Frozen Lagoon, which is surrounded by glaciers and has chunks of ice floating in its waters. This natural paradise will take our breath away. We will then return to Huaraz, where you can rest and recharge after an exciting day.
❖ Overnight stay in Huaraz
DAY 2: PARÓN LAGOON – RETURN TO LIMA
❖ Breakfast is included in the tour.
❖ At 6:00 a.m., we will depart for the city of Caraz, passing through picturesque villages along the way. Once at the Parón Lagoon, we will be able to admire its beautiful turquoise waters and wild Andean flora, as well as the most prominent pyramidal mountains of the Cordillera Blanca.
❖ In addition, there is an option to hike (approximately 40 minutes) along an almost vertical, zigzagging trail, with some sections over rocks, to the viewpoint, where you can see the lagoon in all its grandeur. Return to Huaraz. End of the tour at approximately 6:00 pm.
❖ In the evening, at 9:45 p.m., you will board a comfortable tour bus with semi-reclining seats bound for the city of Lima. Upon your arrival, we will be waiting to drop you off at your hotel.
❖ The next day, you will arrive in Lima at approximately 6:30 AM.
