What you can expect

Arrive at the beautiful Kusasenri-ga-hama, a vast grassland within the Aso caldera. Take a leisurely walk and capture the scenic landscapes.

Explore the Aso Volcano Museum to learn about the region’s volcanic activity and geology. or, visit the Aso Volcano Crater, one of the largest active volcanic craters in the world. Enjoy the breathtaking views and take memorable photos.

Enjoy a luxurious lunch featuring Kumamoto's speciality, Aka beef. Known for its healthiness and rich flavour, Aka beef is characterised by its lean meat and umami taste.

Travel to Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine and take a stroll through the mystical and natural surroundings of the shrine.

Head to Takachiho Gorge, known for its unique beauty and is one of Japan's leading scenic spots. Take a boat ride in the gorge and explore the beautiful valley. If time permits, visit nearby spots like Takachiho Shrine and Amano Iwato Shrine.
